A transporation company was having problems with drivers and equipment . Deborah went in, poured over the employee manual, management manual, and all the paperwork related to the company. She talked to every driver personally.  She inspected every vehicle in the regional fleet.

What she found was that some drivers were not practicing the safety standards of the company, therefore vehicles were getting damaged. Safety meetings were implemented, spot inspections were conducted, drivers who had accidents were sent through specific training. Safety statistics showed as much as a 90% reduction in accidents in several quarters.
